Mikhail Boulgakov. Black Snow(2002)

Mikhail Afanasyevich Bulgakov lived in the era of wars and revolutions. History became a co-author of his works, and the difficult attitude of the authorities had a strong influence on his creative destiny. In Bulgakov's books, there was a place for Russian history, earthly and unearthly love, satire, and the tragedy of a creative personality.
