Vinnie Jones; From Football Villain to Cult Icon(2026)

He was the face of football’s dark arts — the snarling enforcer at the heart of Wimbledon’s “Crazy Gang”, feared by opponents, loathed by referees, and adored by fans who loved a pantomime villain. But behind the bruises, bans and headline-grabbing chaos, who was Vincent Peter Jones really? This documentary traces Vinnie’s extraordinary journey: from a rural Hertfordshire childhood and a family life that fell apart, to runaway teenage years, non-league graft, and an unlikely rise to the top flight. Along the way, we revisit the intimidation tactics that made him infamous, the FA Cup shock of 1988, and the moments that turned him from “brainless thug” into a household name.
