To The Sun and Beyond

Linda is a widow raising her seven-year-old son alone. The boy suffers from xeroderma pigmentosum, a rare genetic disorder. He will suffer severe damage once exposed to sunlight and has to stay in the shadows for most of his life. To protect her son, Linda builds layers of barriers to shut out the outside world. As time goes by, the mother gradually realises that overprotection will only deprive her child of the right to experience life.
