Gasherbrum II(2006)

Sky Running is a very modern way of alpinism, outstanding in both flexibility and toughness:. Ascending fast and descending even faster. Benedik Böhm and Sebastian Haag are up to something completely new in the range of mountaineering: A sky run to the summit of Gasherbrum II (8053 m) and going the whole way down to Base Camp on ski - right through the death zone. In one day. The film does not only feature an outstanding sportive achievement, but also the whole strain of that tour including its preparations at Base Camp and mountain side.
