When Hawaiian free-surfer Shane Dorian defied the wishes of Brock Little, his trusted Jet Ski driver, threw his tow rope and bounced into a 5m high slab of pacific ocean about to unleash on the shallow coral ledge of Teahupoo in Tahiti, he had little idea he would be riding the first wave of a two day session that would be forever etched in the history of surfing. The 1st and 2nd of May 2005 were insanely SOLID, rock SOLID and Billabong now brings you an exclusive DVD of the same name and nature. Produced by Billabong Entertainment and directed by world renowned cinematographer Jack McCoy, SOLID features never before seen vision of Teahupoo at its bone crunching best. Including exclusive Helicopter, Tower and Channel angles, SOLID tows the viewer right into the action alongside the famous 'Chopes' blow out.
