Daniel Avilés Escobar

Ecuadorian filmmaker and cinematographer Daniel Avilés earned his undergraduate degree in Film from Universidad San Francisco de Quito and completed postgraduate studies in Cinematography at Florida State University. He has served as cinematographer on several Ecuadorian feature films, including Sumergible, Mono con Gallinas, and Más allá del Mall. He directed and wrote Wakulla. In 2012, he published his photography book Eventos Dependientes.
