Born: December 25, 1973 (age 52) · Newark, New Jersey, USA

Tia Bella, born Christina Smith on December 25, 1973, in Newark, New Jersey, is a former American adult film actress of Greek and Spanish descent. Raised in a middle-class family, she attended Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History while working as an exotic dancer and posing for Playboy to support her studies. A member of the Tri-Sigma Sorority, she gained campus recognition before moving to Los Angeles in 1997, where she approached Vivid Entertainment and signed as a Vivid Girl, debuting in Secrets & Lies (1997).

Fans on Babepedia praised her as a “smoking hot brunette with a killer body,” noting her Gettin’ Lucky scenes (2023 comment: “Tia’s beauty is unreal,” user: retrofan73). A 2024 X post called her “a Vivid Girl gem whose Secrets & Lies role shines” (@RetroPornFan). Wikiporno (2008) described her as a “stunning olive-skinned performer with a brief but memorable career.” The Rialto Report highlighted her “captivating presence and natural curves,” cementing her as a niche icon of late 1990s adult cinema.

She appeared in a select number of films, including Gettin’ Lucky (1998) and Where the Boys Aren’t 10 (1998), known for her curvaceous 5’4” figure, olive skin, and performances in solo, lesbian, and heterosexual scenes, though she avoided anal scenes, per Babepedia and IAFD. Retiring in 1998 after a brief but impactful career, she modeled for Hustler (December 1999) and Club Confidential (January 1999), and had a Doc Johnson sex toy modeled after her, per Boobpedia. As of July 21, 2025, Bella, now 51, lives privately with no social media presence, her films enduring in vintage adult communities for her exotic allure.
