Jamia Cuadrado (born July 6, 2000) is a Filipino filmmaker known for making films with cerebral plots and open endings. As a child, she wrote poems and short stories that led to her profound fascination in visual storytelling. She had always been exposed to the arts, garnering techniques in editing that brought impact in her narrative. Her colorgrading work on Bangkang Papel (2025) gained attention at the Cine Nationale 2025 Student Short Film Festival, bringing home multiple awards, including a nomination for Best Cinematography. Her work on Mahal (2026) has also been nominated for Best Original Score at the Gawad Obra. Recently, her film Hinga (2026) is among the finalists for the LAGIM! Horror Film Festival.
When she's not writing scripts, she writes and produces songs. Her first song, "Sandali" was released on all streaming platforms in 2023. Jamia is currently working on her degree in Film.
