Robert Flowers
Writing
Robert is the son of a paraplegic Vietnam veteran from the East Coast and a school teacher from central Mexico. He writes underdog characters who face off against institutional corruption. This is often through the lens of a mentor/mentee relationship. That could be a parent-child, or a wise veteran and young upstart. Often with a genre bent.
His sports thriller recently won best thriller pilot at the Big Apple Film Festival in NYC. It was the winner of the ISA fast track fellowship this spring as well as making me a Blacklist-recommended writer.
