Hegre-Art, his official website, was launched in 2002 as Hegre-Archives. It underwent a dramatic redesign in December 2005, coinciding with the name change. Hegre is married to model Luba Shumeyko and they divide their time between a villa set in orange groves in the Algarve, Portugal and an atelier in the heart of Paris.
