Isa Rodríguez Aparicio (Guatemala, 1997) filmmaker whose work explores memory, intimacy, and the emotional traces left by relationships and moments of change. Her approach to filmmaking is deeply connected to music, visual arts, and personal experiences, creating intimate stories centered on human connection.
In 2023, she directed Fragmentos, her first short film as a writer and director, and Mercy, a personal portrait of her late aunt that reconstructs her memory of her through found footage and archival material. She is currently developing Fragmentados, her thesis short film.
